Hungarian vocational training in Romania and the development of vocational training institutions were always held as greatly important themes by HTAR. We were glad when we learned about the decision of the Government of Hungary to name the year 2015 The Year of Vocational Training Abroad. Our Association took part in organizing events, programs, projects, and ever since then, it pays attention to this important area of Hungarian public education in Romania.
Our students take part annually in the competition of excellence of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This contest is called Szakma Sztár (Star Of Vocation). The written pre-selection is organized with the help of HTAR’s county and regional presidents. The experiences got during these events and the opportunity to build new relationships are considered helpful and important by the teachers and the students as well.
At our annually organized vocational conferences, people working in this field have the opportunity to share experiences and good practices with each other and to deal with common problems together. We are open to every idea, suggestion that aims to develop or support vocational education.
