The Hungarian Teacher’s Association of Romania funded the Bolyai Farkas Award in 2008 in order to commemorate the spirit of Bolyai Farkas and Bolyai János. This award is given to high school students who achieved outstanding results in the field of mathematics. Similarly to Kós Károly Award, this award also consists of a commemorative medal, a diploma and prize money. The prize is given annually to one student per class.
