The Science Council announces the Apáczai Prize every two years for the Hungarian pedagogues working in Romanian public education. The prize commemorates the work of Apáczai Csere János and aims to evaluate, encourage and promote the scientific activities of Hungarian teachers in public education. Authors who have written material printed out in a single volume or their work is in recognised scientific journals or online can apply for the prize.
